Frequently asked questions

How do I prepare the meal?
Empty the pack into a bowl, add the hot water shown on the pack (around 80 ml for most meals), stir, cover and rest for 5 minutes. You can also cook it in a pan for 3 minutes or in a microwave for 2. Remove the oxygen absorber before cooking.
Do the packs need a fridge?
No. Every meal is freeze-dried and shelf-stable. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and eat it soon after opening.
How long does a pack last?
12 months. The expiry date is printed on every pack.
Are there preservatives or artificial colours?
No. The meals are cooked from natural ingredients and freeze-dried, which keeps them shelf-stable without preservatives. Ingredients and nutrition are listed on every pack.
Can I carry them abroad?
Yes. The packs are light, sealed and vegetarian, which is why students going abroad, trekkers and travellers carry them. Check the food rules of the country you are flying to.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes, we ship across India from Ahmedabad. Most orders leave within 24 hours on working days and arrive in 2 to 5 days.
